Yes, I had exactly the same problem. My paid license for Office Pro was 32 bit, and I didn’t realize it so installed the 64 bit trial of Project and Visio.

When I realized what I had done, uninstalled Project and Visio 64 bit, and re-installed 32 bit versions, and got the same problems you report above. I’m a professor at a nearby university trying to teach a class using these products, and this is VERY frustrating.

And Microsoft scratches their head wondering why they’re losing market share, and why people are turning to Macs with their office suites or LibreOffice. NONE of the software codes for the trial versions qualified to get us through to someone on chat support.

So when they say “trial”, what they really mean is “here it is, it might work, it might not, and don’t ask for any support. How satisfied are you with this reply?
